We are a privately owned campground with only 53 sites offering fully furnished lakefront cabins, wooded RV, pop-up and tent sites, recreation hall and group area
for weddings or retreats.
Harvey's Lake Cabins and Campground is located In the heart of the Northeast
Kingdom, the most rural and least populated area of the state, in West Barnet,
Vermont.
Featured in Yankee Magazines "Editor's Picks", Harvey's Lake Cabins and
Campground is Vermont's oldest private campground, which puts it in pretty
good company with other attractions such as Shelburne Farms; Ben & Jerry's; the Fairbanks Museum; and Cabot
Creamery in Vermont.
While you boat swim or fish in the peaceful waters, consider this: a young
summer camper got his aquatic feet wet here - none other than Jacques
Cousteau.
Harvey's Lake is a spectacular hideaway, known to be a fisherman's paradise,
hosting over 350 surface acres with crystal clear depths exceeding 145 feet.
Fish or swim right from your cabin, or quietly canoe the lake's edge and along
our river frontage. Catch the mate to the 17 lb. 34 inch lake trout that didn't
get away.
Our 10 lake-front, fully furnished cabins are spacious, quaint, with an elegantly bohemian ambiance. Tastefully decorated with personal pictures, fun antique furniture, full kitchens and bathrooms make your stay feel like all the comforts of home.
